So...


In the interest of making things... alot easier for me, im going to be shaking this up like a lot of other time consuming factors in this game.

Gone will be the annoying green yellow and red zone.

Instead your outposts will allow your colony vessels to move within a certain radius of them, probably the same as we have now. (Unless you have warp tech breakthrough, although i may change this breakthrough to something a little more exciting...)

Attack fleets(mk1) will be able to roam... Freely throughout the Alpha quadrant, star ships are supposed to be self sufficient after all, combine this with replicator technology and they have unlimited food and resources almost.

Mk2 vessels however will be limited to your own empire and that of an affiliate or alliance member if empires are bordering each other. We will think of a reason for this later

Movement of squadrons within its own empire space will be bordering on godlike.

Movement of Mk1 Attack squadron vessels will however be slowed once outside of your own empire space.

So thats some more sneak peeks into future adjustments for the eager space commanders.

hmm ok i've got multiple personalities so i get mood swings. But man there's serious paranoia settling in here. I'm bemused.

So with the previous discussion about defensive/offensive ship types now blown to smithereens by romulan and federation photon torpedoes, we can assume that the new growing rules on movement will benefit an empires own ships while within said empire or affiliated/alliance member space, once they leave said territory they will be significantly slowed.
