Moving within your own empire:

The Range on this is Unlimited.

Moving outside of your empire:

The speed of this is 1 sector per turn. This is also only allowed if you have a space station, Outpost or Starbase within 3 squares of your ship or fleets position. Remember command cruiser will allow ships formed into fleets around them to go beyond this range.

Intercepting:

A special action that sets your ship or fleet to Intercept any invading ships not affiliated or in alliance with yourself. This action only works within your own empire territory and the range on this is unlimited. Note that intercepting can only be attempted up to 3 times within a standard turn submission. There is a formula to determine this so success is not assured.
