Its finally happened the Hegemony and the Klingon Empire have joined in military affiliation. This gives them access to each others space and trading will soon begin between the two aggressive empires. Now the galaxy watches and waits for the next move by the Gorn-Klingon Affiliation.
In a surprise move, The Cardassian Union have declared war against the Trill Commonwealth, while attentions have been focused on Bajor and an impending invasion it seems the true intentions of the Union are slowly being exposed. We tried to get further comment from Gul Du'Mar but he was unavailable for comment.
Klingons have begun extensive mining on harsh worlds with extremely dangerous conditions. They claim there is no better way to put prisoners taken in battle or who have commited offenses against the Empire to use. While this is a different spin on the past Emperor Scolak who used captured and bought slaves with no previous offenses to work his dilithium mines, we have to ask how the Galactic community will react.
Reports are being received from the Breen frontier of swarms of Ferengi vessels annihilating not one but two Breen outposts, the outposts had no chance as the sheer number of ships reported indicated no defense could have stopped them. At this time no survivors have been reported by the Breen Confederacy.
The Gorn have entered Vulcan space and apparently through some clever maneuvering have avoided the Vulcan defense force. This has lead to a world being left undefended at sector H:18 by an overstretched Vulcan fleet. Reports indicated that Gorn vessels swept across the planets surface eradicating military anti air defenses before a ground invasion began. Gorn troops landed and began systematically subjugating the small populace, even so it seems the Vulcans did not give up without a fight and thousands were killed on both sides. However it seems the Gorn now hold this system and have begun putting in Gorn Overlords to govern the remaining populace.
Rumors are spreading of a shadowy war being fought behind the scenes, strange killings, missing officials, mysterious scanner images of stealthy ships passing across borders and sensitive information going missing. We do not doubt that secretive agencies are behind these actions within the eastern arm of the Alpha Quadrant, but with so many strange occurrences we are sure its the work of multiple agencies coming into conflict and they all appear to have the same goal.
A Klingon Battle fleet has entered Vulcan space and is apparently stationed over a Vulcan Colony. With devastating effect they have begun plundering and raiding the Vulcan system and passing trade ships. As yet their have been no surviving trade ships and the Vulcan High Command seems to be reeling from this new attack which came at the same time as the Gorn Invasion. While the Vulcan High Command struggles to maintain control over its space, we have to ask, were are the Vulcan ships? Even if they arrive to fight one foe, how can they possibly stop two? Without aid we fear the Vucans could lose more planets and the loss of life will increase.
The Cardassian Union have invaded Trill space and captured the Trill Homeworld. After a furious battle above the planet against a Trill outpost countless Troop Transports began brutally conquering the planets surface. No quarter was given on either side as hundreds of thousands of Trill civilians were killed in the furious ground fighting. It all ended when the Trill defense Initiative headquarters was surrounded and after weeks of fighting was finally taken, at the final moment its rumored Gul Du'Mar personally saw to the last pockets of resistance before announcing to the populace they were now part of the Union. Now thousands of cardassian troops secure the planets resources and military sites. With the cardassian fleet patrolling the system all trade in and out of the system has been disbanded and their has been no further communication from the Trill system.
