I like the idea of not having a galatic map every turn. Is it worth contemplating not having it at all as common knowledge?

Your not alone here, the only reason i brought it in was to give prospective players something to gaze at and entice them into the game.

Lets see what everyone else thinks?

Keep it as it is, every 5 turns, maybe increase o a higher number or get rid altogether...

I have to say Im of a mixed view too, not knowing allows espionage and intel and scouting to Flourish! But you are right, prospective players need something to look at. I think 5-10 turn per map is still a good idea personally.

I like the idea of having no map, that way you cant see the ferengi vessels sneaking into your space looking for latinum until its too late! Suspect

Did I hear someone mention Latinum!

I would be happy with no maps, you can only see what you can see, makes for more surprises and intrigue. But like already said, new players require a map. Theree definately needs to be something for potential new players to see when they come to the website to give them a taste, perhaps a rough map? I dont know.....
