| A Vulcan Ambassador calls a meeting. Emotionless and serene he address the empires present.
We wish to discuss the Klingon Empires apparent need to Annex systems around Vulcan space, we can see no logic in this and would request this end immediately.
The Vulcan Ambassador folds his arms in his robes.

| a usually expressive admiral is not as he says We ourselves have been looking into the truth of the claims the klingons are making . Truth sadly is not what we found. Although it seems an antethema for my people to lend aid to yours ambassador, consider it yours in this affair . the klingons have been lying about their mad emperor and slave yards . Again i seek clarity , in my cousins i hope it can be found | |

| Coughing to announce his presence the Cardassian Commander speaks
If the reports from the eastern arm of the Alpha Quadrant are true it seems a Klingon vessel have been ambushed by two Vulcan warships?
Raising a questioning eyebrow.
Did the Vulcan High command seriously think that such actions would go unpunished? Is the simple annexing of space such a crime as to warrant the destruction of a vessel attempting such actions?

| The Ambassador of Vulcan turns to the Romulan Admiral.
We find ourselves agreeing with... our cousins, we too find the stories exiting the Klingon Empire both intriguing and thus far without truth.
The Vulcan nods to the Romulan a thoughtful look upon his face.
In response to the Cardassians comment on the skirmish in sector I:20 we made our intentions clear and the klingons vessel chose to ignore it. It was a most illogical course of action given they were outnumbered. It pains us it came to such a conflict over border control, but we will vigorously stop all expansion upon Vulcan territory without proper authority.
The Vulcan folds his arms into his sleeves once more.

| sending the cardissian some cough medicine...Argel tal himself stands Klingons are not naturally deceitful, trust one who knows deception, this ruse ? cannot be the idea of just one klingon i sense another behind their actions,. If , Gul, you find yourself beleiving this nonsense then i will contact the federation florist for flowers for your grave, to beleive these political machinations is folly taking a deep breath and looking at his data pad nodding, he states Our battle fleet stands ready, stop the annexation of vulcan space | |

| Chuckling Gul Du'Mar holds the Cough medicine up to the light examining it suspiciously.
Battle fleet at the ready? Surely the Klingon Empire will be fleeing in terror at the thought of engaging the Romulan Star Empire...
He grins again placing the vial on the desk and then looks at it again suspiciously.

| Entering the meeting the Gorn Prince walks over to the Cardassian and towering above him takes up the Romulan vial he was viewing so suspiciously and as it rest in his outstretched palm he closes his hand shattering the vial and the liquid oozing between his clawed hands. He cocks his head at the Romulan sideways in a mocking manner and a low growl emanates from his chest.
It is not the blade from the rear you should fear but that which comes openly before you.
Sitting in a position to the left of the Gul and wiping his hands upon a cloth he speaks the attention of the room now focused upon him.
Romulan... Should you not be considering the plight of your Trade alliance partner rather than that of your splintered family.
Looking around and making sure all are paying attention he continues in a serious tone.
The Breen have destroyed a Ferengi outpost and the news has shown us they have a fleet of vessels not far from Ferengi space. The Ferengi are in disarray and now the Breen have somehow formed a Affiliation with the Nausicaans...
His reptilian eyes flick suspiciously to the Cardassian for the briefest of moments.
...giving them access to the Alpha Quadrant, the ferengi and the beloved Bajorans.
His last words are a hiss.

| The Breen commander Shotan speaks his strange visor hiding his face.
The pact between the Breen and the Nausicaan is an internal affair and is of no concern to the core of the Alpha Quadrant.
As the universal translator tries to catch up with the Breens words it has a strange echoing effect as the Breen natural speech hangs in the air.
However the idea that the Gorn believe the Ferengi would allow the Romulan Star Empire passage through their space to help in the dispute over the planet Tempest is a null point. The Ferengi do not trust the Romulans and will never allow them access to their space, to do so would be... of no profit. In turn the fate of the Ferengi is of no concern to the Romulan star empire, they care only for their internal scheming. Like the fabled cloaking technology they will remain unseen skulking in the shadows until threatened.
The Breens visor moves slowly viewing all present.

| *The Grand Nagus shuffles in to the meeting room resting heavily on his Golden staff, the Nagus looks weary, obviously troubled by recent events*
*The nagus is flanked by four young Ferengi with coiled whips at their sides, rather than the usual collegate manner, those flanking the Nagus today have an almost feral look to them, the nagus takes a seat and the young ferengi surround him looking everywhere at once but their eyes rest on the Breen more frequently*
"Forgive my entourage, but my advisors fear for my safety even here on Serenity station. And to be honest, I tend to agree with them based on recent events. As Im sure you are aware the Breen launched a preemptive strike on our trading outpost and have left the Ferengi Alliance with no choice but to defend ourselves and prevent any such attack in the future."
*The Ferengi looks to the Gorn*
"The Romulans share a friendship treaty with the Ferengi and as such are not a military ally. The Ferengi currently stand alone against the Breens aggression, and perhaps the Nausicaans, depending on the nature of their arrangement"
*The Nagus relaxes back into his chair under the watchful eye of his bodyguards*
